It all started while I was watching This Old House on PBS while I was a young child. I then became fascinated with fixing up homes and selling them as a teenager. In my early twenties I started on a course to get my real estate license in California but was sidetracked by the death of my brother from Cystic Fibrosis. Fast forward to December of 1999 I found myself in Portland, OR about to be laid off by Wine.com where I was working with the wineries and wholesalers in the PNW. As luck would have it they gave me a 3 month severance package so I jumped at a chance to get into my dream profession: Real Estate! I continued practicing real estate after moving to Phoenix in 2004. Our team has been grateful enough to assist over 500 families and clients to sell and or buy a home. This is an accomplishment but it isn’t enough…So I decided to donate $250 to charity for every home I closed. $125 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and $125 to the charity of our client’s choosing. The inspiration was my brother Devin who passed away in 1991. He had so much life to give in those so precious few years that I knew it was the path for us to go on. Every year we also ring the bell for the Salvation Army, do a can food drive for the Phoenix Rescue Mission and we donated $4100 to charity in 2017. The goal for 2018 is $10,000: $5000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and $5000 to the charities of our client’s choosing. Please keep those referrals coming so we can reach our $10,000 goal!
